A most recent EC Regulation No. 212/2010 dated 12^th March 2010 has increased level of official control on import of Basmati from Pakistan & India in EU.

Growing number of checks at different ports on arrival in EU are being monitored carefully, stringently and more-often!

Besides EU, many of the basmati rice importing countries are now adopting pre-shipment analysis on Aflatoxin to import & market a save material.
